Backpacks for Students

Update August 2023:

We are continuing to collect items for our students who will be returning to school so very soon! We would like to help families who might find the cost of a backpack and supplies a little overwhelming, especially if you have a couple of kids to take care of! This is where you can help! We currently have a bunch of backpacks and are looking for those supplies such as crayons, index cards, pens, pencils, erasers, glue sticks, rulers, paper, notebooks, etc., to be able to fill them and be able to hand out to the young scholars in the community! We’ll have a spot to drop off your donations in the Fellowship Hall! There will be a sign up sheet for anyone who would like to receive one of our completed backpacks in the back of the sanctuary.

And if anyone wants to come out and help sort and fill the backpacks, we would love your help! Please contact Anna Smith or DJ Mahar for more details!
