Rice Bowls is a non-profit organization that seeks to provide food for orphaned children in the name of Christ. In addition, Rice Bowls helps organizations like us collect money in a fun and meaningful way.

This year we will be kicking off a church-wide mission project on the weekend of March 4 & 5, 2023. We are encouraging and challenging our whole congregation and church programs to participate in this wonderful project called Rice Bowls during the season of Lent.

Take a bowl, or a few, home with you and then bring them back to church after Easter for a smashing party! Bowls can be picked up in Mission Central at the church.

Why is it called Rice Bowls?

Rice is a dietary staple for much of the world, the design of the bowls reminds us of those in need around our world.

What do you do?

Take a bowl, or a few, home with you and fill it up with change (or cash!) from your family, friends, coworkers, or anyone that you may know. Then bring them back to church after Easter.

Who do you impact?

When you feed orphaned kids, great things happen!

Rice Bowls partners with loving, grass-roots children’s homes around the world to cover 100% of their delicious, locally sourced meals. The homes can then focus on loving, teaching, protecting, and providing for the children in their care.

Orphaned kids grow up to become chefs, software engineers, welders, doctors, teachers, ministers, marathon runners, and flat-out awesome human beings!

Be a small part of something big!

Every single one of the kids Rice Bowls serves is a hero who has already overcome so much. Rice Bowls provides bite-size opportunities for people like you to help these heroes (and those who care for them) reach their potential.

Let’s make a change this year and help feed starving children around the world!
