Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is the world’s largest Christmas project that operates year-round to bring the joy of Christmas and hope to over 110 countries. Each year, beginning in October, we will be collecting shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items that are blessed by the love and prayers from our congregation and neighboring churches. Please consider filling a shoebox and bringing it back to the church to start its journey across the globe to reach those who may never experience the Good News of God’s love.

Shoebox Packing Party - Saturday, November 11, 12-3 PM
Come join our Intergenerational Angel Wings as they host our 3rd annual Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Packing Party. Be a part of the fun, meet new friends, enjoy some food, pack shoeboxes, and praise Jesus. All are welcome!
To make this packing party successful, we are looking for donations to fill the shoeboxes and sponsors to cover the shipping cost for each shoebox. Donated items can be placed in the OCC Box in Mission Central.
Shoebox Collection Week - November 13-20
Looking to volunteer but not sure where? We need volunteers to help collect these wonderful boxes during Shoebox Collection Week, when our church will be open extra hours to accept these gifts. If you can donate some time to act as an OCC representative and accept any boxes that may be dropped off during the week, we would love to have you! As we get closer to those dates, visit pendletonchurch.org/occ and look for a link to sign up to help.
Shoebox Sunday - November 19 after the 11:00 AM service
Stay or come back after the 11:00 AM service on November 20 to help out with Shoebox Sunday. We'll be working together to pack up the shoeboxes into shipping cartons, load the trailer, and send them on their way to Eastern Hills church and the next step of their journey.
