Pendleton Center is a dynamic, growing congregation where your ministry makes the difference. We gather for worship and renewal, and scatter into the world to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and to help others less fortunate than ourselves.
Even though we don’t have a physically fully-open church building, we have been able to reach out to the church family and our community in several ways. One of these ways, is in our online ministry.
We invite you to explore our online ministry below and browse the rest of the site for other events happening. If you have any questions, please get in touch with us.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart; with caring relationships in the community of faith! We are all missing each other! Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Well, isolation due to a global pandemic has made meeting together difficult! However, connection with others is vital in our faith life.
We have seen an incredible growth of our social media and outpouring from the community to lead evening worship. We have seen hundreds of new followers on our Facebook Page and Group! Every day we offer live streams on Facebook – if you can connect with Facebook, like our page and join our group for discussion with other members!
Wednesdays at 7:00 PM, Pastor Cathy leads a live, interactive Bible study through online video chat!
The Bible study is currently taking a break, but will be back soon!
Most folks love a great conversation. You’ll hear something thought-provoking. Someone raises a point that you want to learn more about or generates new questions to discuss. This is especially true in conversations about God. One of the great things about our infinite and amazing God is that there are always new things to discover as we walk in faith. Our Tuesday night Bible Study / Adult Sunday School is a way to dive deeper into the scriptures and topics from our worship on Sunday. Maybe the sermon raises a point that you want to discuss some more. Perhaps you’d like the chance to go deeper into some of the background and history of the scripture that was the foundation of the message. It’s also an opportunity to share any questions that may have come up. We also talk about how to apply the points shared in the messages in our daily walk with God.
Join us every Tuesday at 7:00 for a great conversation. The Adult Sunday School is currently taking a break from meeting, but will resume soon.
We know that not everyone may feel comfortable or able to come to church at this time. That’s why we feel it’s so important to provide an online worship experience for you. Even though we still can't be together physically for worship, we can still worship together online!
Worship is live streamed at 9:00 and 11:15 AM each Sunday on our website, Facebook page, and YouTube for those who feel more comfortable at home at this time. For more info about each of our streaming options, go here.
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. Our GriefShare group can help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.
Our virtual meetings will be a small, private group that you will meet online weekly at 7:00 PM on Thursday evenings. Sign up here to join our GriefShare group.
Our group continues to meet online, Sundays at 10:45 AM. Youth 7th-12th grade can join at any time. Contact Dan and Kelli at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll make sure you get the link.
