This year's Easter Celebration & Egg Hunt will look a little different, but our mission remains the same: to reach out to the community to help kids learn and experience the true meaning of Easter.
The Easter egg hunt portion of this event will be at two different time slots - 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 27. Pre-registration is required. Registration opens on March 1. This event is designed for kids ages 1 - 6th grade. We have limited spots - 100 at each time to ensure the safety of all and to comply with our best COVID guidelines. Registration closes Tuesday, March 23 or when full.
Instead of having our journey through Holy Week at church this year, we will be sending kids and families home with interactive materials to walk through the days of Holy Week and experience it together as a family. Each bag will include a story, activity, and craft for each day of Holy Week.
Our hot dog lunch will also be available to take home with you. You just have to sign up when you register and let us know how many lunches you want. The cost will be $4.00 per lunch and includes a hotdog, drink, and chips of your choice. All proceeds go toward our annual Easter Celebration and Egg Hunt.

Children are always welcome in our worship service, but we know that it’s difficult for most children to focus during services, that’s why we offer Jr. Church during the Sunday services. If you would like your child to participate in Jr. Church, before going into the service, please bring your children (3 years old - 3rd grade) to the Ark for a worship service designed just for them. Children will be brought to the back of the Sanctuary before communion, during the sharing of the peace, for you to pick up.
Our program is a fun, interactive, and safe place where kids can worship God and engage in their very own relationship with him. This is a perfect opportunity for your children to learn and start to build their life on Jesus and to learn more about him.
Jr. Church is currently meeting at the 9:00 AM service on Sunday mornings. To register for worship and Jr. Church each week, visit our reservation page.
Sunday School is offered on Sundays at 10:15 AM. We will be dancing, singing, and digging deeper in our knowledge of God, with lessons, snacks, crafts, and games!
Due to COVID-19, this group is not currently meeting at the church, but you can continue the Sunday School learning at home. Each week a lesson is provided for you on the watch page.
Angel Wings is a Christian fellowship group for children ages kindergarten through the sixth grade and meets Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM during the school year. All children are welcome!
Each week we work on making mission projects with the children - some will be made at home and others when at church. We are on the move to share the love of Jesus!
Despite COVID restrictions, Angel Wings are on the move! Our children and families have figured out ways to continue serving God's people, create gifts of support, and remain in contact. Way to go!
Are the children ever earning their wings! Fifty purses for the homeless were delivered by Sandy Houck to downtown Buffalo. Each contained personal care items and a message of hope. Fifteen blankets made by the group were also delivered to a local pet shelter.
This month we will be making "thinking of you" cards for Seneca St. UMC and Niagara Falls UMC. Easter Gift packages will also be sent.
Our Friday night HCWG and S'mores programs are a place where children (K-7th grade) come together for a small group lesson. Small groups are divided by age and gender and give the children an opportunity to spend time in growing in their relationship with Jesus alongside other Christian children. They also will get connected to an older teenager, who is in a leadership role and serving by being an example of Christ.
Small groups aren't the only thing we do on Friday nights; catch us in action as we are sharing dinner together, praying together, having group lessons together, working in large groups together, dancing together, and more!
Our goal is to have every child be known and ensure them they matter, they belong, they are important, they are loved, and they can pursue a relationship with Jesus. Join us Fridays from 6:00-8:30 PM!
During COVID, our meetings will run a little different, but our mission remains the same!

VBS is held every summer and helps kids discover the wonders of God's creation. Throughout the day, they will learn how God walked with heroes of the Bible, and that God is always with them too. Add to the adventure with out-of-this-world fun, learning, Bible stories, music, science, crafts, and games that inspire kids to give glory to God, who can do far beyond all that we could ask or imagine!
Meeting online for our 2020 VBS, “Focus", was a blast! It was great to see all of our friends and learn through Bible stories about God.
