We are coming to the end of a great year in Children and Youth ministries. Even though this year was very different, we feel incredibly blessed to have still spent time together in person and virtually with all of our children and youth here at church.
We enjoyed learning about God, growing in our faith, serving, and having lots of fun together through games, activities, lessons, and small groups.
Many good things have come from this year, even through the pandemic. We are excited and looking forward to this summer’s activities, and hopefully, a normal ministry year come September.
God has great plans for each and every one of our children and youth, and we are looking forward to seeing what wonderful things will transpire in the coming months.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” -Romans 15:13

Knights of North Castle: Quest for the King’s Armor invites children to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of God’s power by exploring how we put on the armor of God. Kids will take on the role of brave knights and begin their quest each session by opening up the King’s Book.
They’ll explore Old and New Testament stories and discover different pieces of protective armor - the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Justice, the Shoes of Peace, the Shield of Faith, and the Helmet of Salvation - at work in the lives of familiar Bible characters, and explore how that armor works in their own lives as they follow and serve God.
Help kids take up the gauntlet this summer and accept the challenge to “armor up” and be strong by remaining with God and sharing God’s love in a world that needs it more than ever!

VBS will be for all kids who have completed Kindergarten - 6th grade this year.
We will be offering two weeks to ensure we are able to follow CDC guidelines to keep all children and volunteers safe.
Children are always welcome in our worship service, but we know that it’s difficult for most children to focus during services, that’s why we offer Jr. Church during the Sunday services. If you would like your child to participate in Jr. Church, before going into the service, please bring your children (3 years old - 3rd grade) to the Ark for a worship service designed just for them. Children will be brought to the back of the Sanctuary before communion, during the sharing of the peace, for you to pick up.
Our program is a fun, interactive, and safe place where kids can worship God and engage in their very own relationship with him. This is a perfect opportunity for your children to learn and start to build their life on Jesus and to learn more about him.
Jr. Church is currently meeting at the 9:00 AM service on Sunday mornings. To register for worship and Jr. Church each week, visit our reservation page.
Sunday School is offered on Sundays at 10:15 AM. We will be dancing, singing, and digging deeper in our knowledge of God, with lessons, snacks, crafts, and games!
Due to COVID-19, this group is not currently meeting at the church, but you can continue the Sunday School learning at home. Each week a lesson is provided for you on the watch page.
Angel Wings is a Christian fellowship group for children ages kindergarten through the sixth grade and meets Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM during the school year. All children are welcome!
Each week we work on making mission projects with the children - some will be made at home and others when at church. We are on the move to share the love of Jesus!
Despite COVID restrictions, Angel Wings are on the move! Our children and families have figured out ways to continue serving God's people, create gifts of support, and remain in contact. Way to go!
Our Friday night HCWG and S'mores programs are a place where children (K-7th grade) come together for a small group lesson. Small groups are divided by age and gender and give the children an opportunity to spend time in growing in their relationship with Jesus alongside other Christian children. They also will get connected to an older teenager, who is in a leadership role and serving by being an example of Christ.
Small groups aren't the only thing we do on Friday nights; catch us in action as we are sharing dinner together, praying together, having group lessons together, working in large groups together, dancing together, and more!
Our goal is to have every child be known and ensure them they matter, they belong, they are important, they are loved, and they can pursue a relationship with Jesus. Join us Fridays from 6:00-9:00 PM!
During COVID, our meetings will run a little different, but our mission remains the same!
At our Family Easter Celebration & Egg Hunt you can experience the true meaning of Easter. We walk through the days of Holy Week at fun and interactive stations that are great for the whole family! Along with our Easter stations, we have an Easter egg hunt and hot dog sale.
Our Easter Celebration is held the Saturday before Palm Sunday each year.
This event is designed for kids ages 1 - 6th grade.
Looking to volunteer? Lots of volunteers (youth and adults) are needed before, during, and after this wonderful event each year!
Before the event we need help with stuffing eggs and prepping crafts and bags.
You could donated items needed, like candy, prizes, cookies, hot dogs, rolls, and chips.
During the event you can assist with parking, help with hot dog sale, hand out prizes, and put out the eggs.
And after the event, cleaning up and putting things away!
