Pendleton Center United Methodist Church

Connecting people with Christ

We’re like other churches, but different!

Welcome! In many ways the Pendleton Center United Methodist Church is like other churches. We worship God, celebrate sacraments, and have Christian Education for our children. In some ways we are different. Our congregation is larger and younger than most churches. This allows us to offer activities, programs, and possibilities not found in many congregations. The most significant difference is our commitment to help heal spiritually broken people. Many of our people have been away from church for a long time when they start coming to church. The Pendleton Center UMC provides a safe, welcoming environment for people to explore a relationship with God from wherever they are on their spiritual journey.

You are invited to join us in seeking God’s transforming power in your life, and the lives of those you love.

Fall Updates

Several years ago our Sunday morning schedule was two services with Sunday School in between. We changed to three services to provide more opportunities to attend worship. This schedule has proven helpful to many, but has caused hardship for others. Our worship team becomes worn out and our Sunday School leaders find they are choosing between leading that ministry or worshiping God. And most of our teens and older children have been opting out of worship which is the primary activity that leads them to long term involvement in a church.
